The Concept2 rowing machine commonly referred to as the “Erg” (short for ergometer) is a classic, a platinum standard for over 40 years, and is the rowing machine of choice to train indoors, for many elite and professional rowers, along with competitive athletes. We would not recommend this rowing machine for absolute beginners new to rowing.
