What are the main Differences?

Like the 2022 and 2023 model, the New 2024 Commercial 2540 has a folding Treadmill running deck design. As a rule, we always recommend going with the latest technology and newer models, but since the 2022 model of the Commercial 2450 was a complete redesign, reflected in the newer models today, it is still a good, durable treadmill option to purchase — providing you can find one now on Amazon or at BestBuy.

There are three main changes. The earlier 2022 Nordictrack Commercial 2450 has 3 degrees more incline and a 2-inch wider running deck with a larger roller making it a tad more durable. However, it is a little heavier and with a slightly larger floor footprint. A recent change to the 2024 - 2450 model is it now supports a greater max user weight up to 400 lbs. 100 lbs. more than the 2023 and 2022 models, suggesting it’s a little sturdier.

The New Commercial 2450 is an excellent treadmill with a durable 3.6 CHP, self-cooling motor and a good list of features; it is a foldable treadmill saving floor space when not in use, and with its wide 22-inch HD touchscreen is excellent for viewing iFit workouts both on and off the treadmill.

Overall, Nordictrack's Commercial 2450 line of treadmills, whether 2019, 2022, or 2024 model, have all been bestsellers, with excellent customer reviews and few issues. We like the new 2450 treadmill but slightly preferred the previous 2450 model with its higher incline and 2-inch wider running deck. We recommend that while still in stock, consider ordering the prior year’s model if available. But in the end, the newer NordicTrack Commercial 2450 still brings it with impressive treadmill features to move on compared with competitive models in the same range.
